Recommended espresso/coffee machine in 2026

Featured Replies

Thinking about buying a real coffee machine after trying one of those Nespresso machines that takes capsules.

Can anyone recommend a brand that isn't total junk and reliable? The prices range from sub-5000 up to 20-30k baht so maybe something around 10k baht like the one below is good quality?

I don't go mental with coffee quality like some people, just want something that works reliably and won't break in weeks like so much Chinese junk does. Doesn't need a milk steamer or anything fancy, just want to make a couple shots and mix in some water or milk.

Thanks guys.

If you don't need frothed milk try a moka pot first, much better than my previous Nespresso. Mine was around 250 baht 4 cup

Never actually tried a moka pot but I used to the french press which is not bad and easy enough to use. One thing I did like about the capsule machine was just turn it on and get coffee in one step instead of boiling water.

Yes the Nespresso was ok i used to go to the London Regent street flag ship store, tried every pod available, i prefer the moka pot, can try your own beans until you find one you prefer, also it's the exact size i like, plus the Nespresso broke within 2 years, moka pot will last forever. Grinder 500 baht does the job, can choose grind
