Millian
The house I rent is on the off peak electricity tariff, but now im working from home nearly all of the time. Does that mean I may be paying more than if I was on the standard tariff? I don't know if the 'on peak' hours charge is the same which ever tariff you are on and I'm possibly paying more for the usage during the day, compared to standard tariff? any insights? Thanks,
Crossy
Yup. Time of use 5.1 Baht per kWh peak, 2.6 Baht kWh off-peak. ???? Normal variable between 3.2 and 4.4 Baht per kWh 24/7. You are also paying rather more as your fixed service charge. From here https://www.pea.co.th/Portals/_default/Documents/Rate2015.pdf
Millian
Thanks for that. Do you know if its easy to change the Tariff? do you just call up, or is there anything technical needed like changing the meter needed?
Crossy
Sadly I don't but there are members on ToU tariffs who will hopefully be along soon.
