blny Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Hi A few issues, the Thanaleng / Nong Khai border crossing is now working normally? Can you recommend some cheap covid insurance? It's about the Thai Pass. I have a tourist visa for 60 days, should I buy it enough for them to accept it? How long have you waited for acceptance in the Thai Pass after the recent changes? I spent all the covid time in Thailand, should I have a Thailand exit ticket?
DrJack54 Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/index.html Purchase cheapest 30 day covid insurance. Dont worry about exit ticket if entering via land border. The turn around for TP is quick. Assume that you are fully vaccinated. https://tp.consular.go.th/ 1

ThaiVisaCentre Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 You do not need a full 60 day coverage, as mentioned 30 days will do. You can see a better price comparison here: As for the current Thailand pass approval time is always less than 48 hours. 1

As of about 2 weeks ago it was for some reason much slower for land entries. I don't know if still the case. 1 1

blny Posted May 27, 2022 Author Posted May 27, 2022 I got TP within 24 hours, I have a story related to it and the Thai embassy. I'll post a report when I get back and get some rest. Thank you for your help! 1

Just now had quick look at web site. Looks interesting and good reviews. Maybe more helpful for land border entries. As for this thread....I posted 2 jabs enough. Having stated that ...I'm heading back to Oz in couple of months. I'm going for first booster soon ish at Bang Sue just to cover myself for travel. Not required but doing it anyway. Let's all hope that TP and rubbish insurance dropped in next month or so.
