Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant on The father of Deputy Education Minister Kanok-wan Vila-wan yesterday but were unable to find him,

 

Soon-torn Vila-wan, chairman of the local authority in Prachin Buri is ‘wanted’ over the occupation of some  150 rai of land in Khao Yai National Park. 

 

Bangkok's new governor Chad-chart Sitti-punt, has plans to assist the homeless and disabled to improve their quality of life.

 

He said Bangkok's homeless population increased by some 30 percent  as people lost jobs due to Covid,

His new project would provide support with finding new jobs and  give access to cheap housing supported by the Human Settlement Foundation.

 

Police in Taiwan investigating the murder of a Thai couple last week, may seek assistance from Thai police. 

They suspect the murderer was a Thai national and may have fled back to Thailand after leaving the bodies of the couple in a parked car at a train station near Taipei.  


Operators of inter-provincial buses say they will reduce or halt some services due to the increase in the price of diesel.

 

Locally police were called after a shooting at a music festival in Ban Lat Phetchaburi left one person dead, the  39 yr old male was shot 3 times. Details are vague but it appears the incident followed an argument with the shooter who was drunk and fled on a motorcycle.  He was later involved in an accident and arrested, police also found the weapon used in the attack.

Beijing: warned its relationship with the United States would not improve unless Washington stops trying to “suppress and contain China on all fronts”.


Speaking at Asia’s top security summit in Singapore, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe said Beijing was committed to peaceful development and maintaining international order, but stressed that it would “fight to the very end” if its core interests, such as Taiwan,were threatened. The general added: “We should seek peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation rather than power politics.

 

Speaking at the same summit Taiwan Premier Su Tseng-chang  said:

Taiwan does not want to close the door to China and is willing to engage in the spirit of goodwill, but on an equal basis and without political preconditions,
