The government and CCSA center for Covid 19 will consider removing thermoscan infrared cameras to detect temperatures of passengers.

The proposal comes as restrictions are relaxed after the number of new covid cases and deaths dropped sharply.

Around 20 small homemade explosive devices have been found by police with sniffer dogs around Din Daeng in Bangkok. Police believe anti government protesters left the devices to be used during further protests.

A request has been made to Thai police by the brother of a woman who was killed with her husband Taiwan, to track down the killer who may have been sighted in Chiang Mai.

The 36 year old suspect was very close to his sister and had become her business partner over there. It’s believed a financial dispute lead to the killings outside of Taipei last week.

Thaksin Shinawatra’s youngest daughter, 35-year-old Paetong-tarn Shinawatra , is launching herself into Thai politics ahead of a national election due by March next year.

She is widely tipped to be named as ‘Pheu Thai’s’ candidate for prime minister when an election is called. 72-year-old Thaksin, was ousted as prime minister in a military coup in 2006. His sister Yingluck was elected PM in 2011, but was deposed by General Prayut in the 2014 coup.

The price of Diesel jumps up another one baht from today bringing the price of one liter of Diesel to 34.95 baht. The Fourth increase since May 1st.
