A very murky case of alleged police corruption surrounding a case of the rape of a 15 year old child is playing out in Bang Plee, Samut Prakan, south east of the Thai capital Bangkok.

 

Yesterday a representative who works on a working party with Thai MP Thammanat Prompao called Kanthat Pongphaiboonwet or "Kan Jormpalang" took the 15 year old victim and relatives to Bang Plee police station to meet chief Pol Col Wirot Tatso. 

 

Claims have been made that the police took money to release the suspect called Kitti Jemratheuk. 

 

Though those claims seem to have come from the suspect himself who has been antagonizing the family after his release.

 

The chief said he was advised to let the suspect go by prosecutors.

After his release he contacted the victim again and made threats. 

 

The girl's grandmother has called for the death penalty.

 

The girl's father admitted that he and other relatives had tried to get the suspect at a house after using his daughter to entice him out with text messages. But he managed to escape.

 

The suspect then dared the family to try again saying facetiously that he had prepared a large "Toh Jeen" (Chinese food table) to treat everyone when they came.

The father said that he was 50-50 about the police taking money. 

 

In the meantime Bang Plee police had rearrested the suspect in the light of his attempts to contact the young victim again and brought him to the police station.

 

Relatives tried to lynch him before he was hurried inside for further questioning, reported 77kaoded yesterday.

Now we all have to stop tell all this storys about Thai police corrouption , we all know that all this storys are just false and all the police men and women in Thailand have join the force to serve and protect the people whit no bribery ????

OK , prove it and show the reason for non-prosecution, that should be fairly simple. Or would that reveal a corrupt prosecutor ? 

One can only hope the next time he's out and about the family of the victim will have much better luck in making far more successful, tactile contact with this charming man.

what's age of Kitti - the rapist?

looks like he was/is in some kind of relationship with this girl, knowing each other phone numbers and taking her invitation to meeting.

 

"a representative who works on a working party with Thai MP Thammanat Prompao" - thammanat is a rapist himself, and murderer. How he can be involved in charitable work for rape victims?

If true it just shows their complete contempt for the victim's of crime and the people they are supposed to serve.
