Open warfare between groups of technical college students brazenly armed with guns and knives caused locals to flee for their lives at Phrapadaeng port in Samut Prakan, reported 77kaoded.

 

A 17 year old was slashed in the cheekbone suffering a serious injury.

 

Samrong Tai police were called to the area about 6 pm yesterday evening along with Poh Teck Tung foundation rescue services. 

 

A grocer told how the fighting erupted and he and his staff hid in fear of their lives. 

 

Police were on the scene checking CCTV to get a lead in the case, the latest in ongoing violence between young people from different colleges.

Simple solution, if found to be involved immediate ending of College Place, black listed and unable to get any qualification. Sort out the students from the fighters .

Now here's a novel idea:

It's an ongoing series of occurrences apparently; therefore instead of poling up afterwards and looking for clues on CCTV, why not a proper police presence to put a stop to it, not just a couple of blokes on a motorcycle flapping their paws at the hooligans!
