snoop1130 Posted July 13, 2022 Share Posted July 13, 2022 A 35- year-old British soldier has sustained serious injuries after he apparently shot himself in the head at a shooting range in Banglamung at about noon today (July 13th). Update: As of 7:00 P.M. it has been confirmed by the hospital that unfortunately the soldier has passed away. The Huayyai Police was notified of the incident at a shooting range in the Huayyai sub-district. First responders and police arrived at the scene to find the 35-year-old man who is a British soldier (The Pattaya News is withholding his name pending embassy and family notification. The soldier’s commanding officer has already been reportedly informed of the incident). He was bleeding heavily from a gunshot wound to his temple. Nearby, Huayyai police found the handgun used in the incident. The victim was rushed to a local hospital and as of press time was undertaking surgery to attempt to save his life.
