CNS Deputy Secretary General believes Thai society is in danger

The Deputy Secretary General of the Council for National Security reports that new forms of dangers are threatening Thai society, therefore new legislature are required to save the nation.

Deputy Secretary General of the Council for National Security Gen Anupong Phaochinda (อนุพงษ์ เผ่าจินดา) commented on criticism of the Internal Security Operations Command Act which is about to be proposed to the National Legislative Assembly for further consideration. Gen Anupong said that the Act is a solution which can aid Thai society, and that constructive criticism and opinions concerning the Act are encouraged.

The CNS Deputy Secretary General believes that Thai society is currently at risk of new forms of threats and new legislature is therefore required to ensure Thailand's national security and alleviate the nation's political crisis. Gen Anupong affirms that new legislature are not aimed at increasing the Council for National Security's power or influence.

The CNS Deputy Secretary General also denied that the CNS lobbied the National Legislative Assembly to prevent it from revising the Council for Democratic Reform's (CDR) 15th Announcement.

this sort of thing has been happening in Bangkok for a while, and it appears to be all over the internet.

The article doesn't say anything at all. It just says that there is a new Internal Security Operations Command Act and that it will "aid Thai society." It doesn't mention what that is. It could mean that all foreign nationals with red hair and freckles can be rounded up in any number without access to lawyers and deported for any reason. We don't know. The article is saying nothing about anything.
