giddyup
I went through all the steps to do it myself 5 years ago, a visit to the Aussie embassy to do the stat dec. that I was unmarried, getting everything translated etc, but never went ahead with the marriage because I was told that if Centrelink got wind of it my pension could get reduced. However, to make things simpler for my partner in terms of a will, I now wish to get married, but at 80 I can't be stuffed going through the whole rigmarole again, so as my header says, anyone used an agency to make things easier, and how much did it cost? thaibeachlovers
I'd try a visa agency first, but I doubt they can do the affirmation from the embassy for you, as you have to sign in front of a consular official. That was the hardest and most expensive part for me, so IMO if you have to do that, might as well do the rest yourself. Good luck.
