The Best Country Beef Phuket aged beef restaurant old town

Man a lot has changed since I was here last round 2007!

 

OK So how is this aged beef restaurant  i happened to see as I was walking around

the new old town? Seems to be called The Best Country Beef Phuket.

I haven't been there but I know the Thai man in charge (lovely guy) and he is very serious about his beef. He opened a few restaurants and is a wholesaler as well. His Thai beef (wagyu, aged or normal) is pretty tasty. It is not the cheapest, but you pay for good quality beef.

 

So, I don't know if that restaurant is actually good, but the meat should be.

My young bloke and I had a steak there (sirloins we chose the cuts ourselves), I think it was last year or the year before, during COVID sometime, steak was expensive (no surprise there!) but ok, we both agreed what we buy and cook ourselves was better though.

As it was during COVID the selection was a but thin, quite a few cuts weren't available, maybe better now though.

Might give it another go soon just to see.
