beatlebones Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 I'm flying to Udon Thani tomorrow from Don Muang, then busing it to Friendship Bridge (Nong Kai) to cross into Laos for a few days in Vientiane. I need to get a re entry permit ... Can I get it tomorrow at Don Muang airport and use it later at the border...or do I need to get it at the actual border's Thai Immigration office ( Thai/Laos crossing point) ? ubonjoe Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 You can only get a re-entry permit when leaving the country at Don Muang. You should be able to get a re-entry permit at the bridge in Nong Khai. They had a re-entry permit desk there before and I assume it is still open. That'll make the trip there more relaxing. Enjoy your trip! I miss those little weekend trips to Laos for a change of scenery. I'm hoping the new bridge in Bueng Kan is open sooner than later.
