i have no info to assist you re DR Jimmy/Urology Dept in Pattaya, however for my enlarged prostate condition i am considering the less invasive itind or urolift procedures when on R & R in Australia (pensioner concession rates.......i hope!).

Be careful, compare and DYOR.

Bangkok Hospital P. now also offering water vapor (rezum) therapy.

To give an idea about the cost: Bumrungrad in Bangkok a whopping 250'000.

BNH Bangkok offer water vapor and "TIND", never heard before.

Whether or not it fits you can only be decided after comprehensive examination.

And compare prices. I would not hesitate to go to Bangkok if it pays.

The Rezum therapy  is new and at quarter K Baht pretty expensive. Does it work?

I saw Dr Jimmy. I would rate him as very  good.

My TURP was performed twenty years ago in the States. Since about 2010 I have been a patient of Dr. Pornchai at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. So far he has helped me avoid further surgery, which I greatly appreciate. I have every confidence in him.

Have you already tried medications? Surgery  is reserved for cases that do not respond  to conservative therapy.

Hi  Sheryl, Yes tried so many   Medications, but  never the Medications that shrink the prostate,  an ...operation has been suggested because of recurring Urine infections, my worry with an operation is   being on blood thinning medication.. and  clots etc, so looking at laser treatment ...i will talk to him today re  the medications that help shrink  the prostate
