The 27 year old owner of the pub that burned down in Sattahip early on Friday morning killing 15, has surrendered to police.

 

Phong-siri Pan-prasong  admitted charges of negligence causing death and operating a night spot without permission.  He also admitted..the backstage entrance was kept locked to prevent people from sneaking out without paying.

Taksin Shinawatra’s daughter Pae-tong-tarn says her father would like to return to Thailand, and see all sides sit down to talk and work together, because people are facing a big challenge during waves of economic problems.

 

Pae-tong-tarn, is currently the leader of the Pheu Thai party and has been campaigning up north ahead of next year's planned election.
