Another Settlement Visa Question

Hi guys,

Just a quick question about tax details when applying for a fiancee visa.

Whilst in Thailand recently somebody told me that I should include a letter from the inland revenue to confirm that my taxes have been paid up to date.

Then I read a thread here that discussed tax debts and it read to me as though it is not checked as part of the application?

Can somebody please clarify this for me.

If it's a Fiancee visa for UK then the rules are settlement visa rules and tax details are not required
