I read it thrice, and for the third time, about 10 years ago. What impressed me most about Malcolm X (AKA: Detroit Red) was his passion for wearing ZOOT SUITS..... "During his early years in Harlem and Boston, Malcolm X (then known as "Detroit Red") embraced zoot suit culture, notoriously calling the flamboyant attire a "killer-diller coat".
