rahil627
thanks so much for this post!! is there much difference between a 60-day covid visa and a 30-day visa-exempt? i only need a few days before flying out... and this will the end of the Thailand-covid era for me. if not, i might make the trip, just for the fun of it (i like trains. ???? ), and maybe it'll be cheaper than 1900 baht? maybe... 2 x 18 hours of trains might be too much though =D

my friend I
On 9/7/2022 at 7:34 AM, VinnieK said: Can you take a motorbike on those trains? Not on those trains. There is no luggage car south of Haad Yai although occasionally the shuttle is sometimes an older car which could take a bike. From Haad Yai to Bangkok and vv no problem.
my friend I
Trains to Bangkok now arrive at the new Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal aka Bang Sue Grande. There are free showers there. Need to show your long distance ticket to use.
