Update: Mountain B Pub. The real owner?

Featured Replies

BREAKING: (1/2) Court on Monday issued an arrest warrant for the father of 27-yr-old Mountain B Pub owner which caught fire & led to 19 deaths. The court believes the real owner was not 27-yr-old Pongsiri Panprasong but his father - 55-yr-old Somyot Panprasong. #Thailand #KE

(2/2) Somyot Panprasong is now wanted for causing deaths and serious injuries through negligence and operating a pub without license

Perhaps better to post the original article with a translation: https://www-komchadluek-net.translate.goog/hot-social/525241?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp

Otherwise it just reads like nonsense.

So has this delay allowed Somyot Panprasong to do a "runner" I  wonder ? He was known about on the 6th August so why only now did the police act ?

Looks like the netizens on Thai social media did the work of the police. In the meantime the son is on parole and his father the real owner is where? It would be nice to think we'll see him arrested for this but the odds are currently not good. 19 dead so far and others with horrific burns. I would be banned for saying what he deserves

I am still trying to discover his connections, if any, to the RTN, as clearly he appears to have someone other than the bent police ( now removed to another posting ) allowing him to dodge the "bullets", metaphorically speaking of course.

(1/2) Somyot Panprasong, the man the authorities believe to be the true owner of Mountain B Pub which recently caught fire and led to 19 deaths, turned himself to the police on Tursday after an arrest warrant was issued by Pattaya Court on Monday.

(2/2) The move came after police surrounded his home in Chonburi. Somyot is charged with causing deaths and serious injuries through negligence and operating a pub without license

Too easy that so guess he is not really the main man

Oh but but but the multiple posters on here decrying what an upstanding young man the "owner" was and how he was doing his best and how he was misunderstood  and spew spew spew the usual rubbish from the Thaier than Thai brigade. Oh and what about the poor Vietnamese girl and the insurance that a "legal" venue should have. Honestly some posters on here make me sick with their grovelling, sycophantic nonsense.

Anyone that didn't know this already is a damn fool

Highly doubtful than any insurance policy is in play.

Any medical costs should be recovered from local authority funds, including the police's budget.

Are you on the right thread, nobody here has been making excuses for the owner/s? The father is now out on 1 million bail and the son on 300k. Disgusting that they have that money to make bail rather than compensate the victims and families. Theres been an updated OP on that anyway
