Scott
PHOENIX – Three Arizona parents were arrested Friday after scuffling with law enforcement as they tried to get into an elementary school to pick up and protect" their children during a school lockdown, police said. Thompson Ranch Elementary School in the Phoenix suburb of El Mirage was locked down for about an hour Friday morning after someone reportedly saw a man with a gun near the school, the El Mirage Police Department said. Bluespunk
Not saying the parents were right to try to push through, they could have made a bad situation worse, but given what happened in Texas can’t say I entirely blame them.

After so many incidents, how could they trust the cops not to shoot first and ask questions later?

The area has a very high percentage of people with Hispanic roots. The commanding officer was named Chavez, so I suspect race was not a big factor.
