Daily News Thai Caption: Littering!

Bang Plee Yai officials in Samut Prakan along with health and environmental staff were called to investigate a landfill dump.

Residents had gone to the media after finding stinking trash used to fill land that appeared to be a fish pond, reported Daily News.

The media had some good shots of people pointing out the obvious.

Workers were ordered to stop what they were doing and a full investigation was promised to get to the bottom of what was going on.

Would you mind pointing them out ?

far too many and what would be the point? The dumps often get a 2k baht fine warning in the end get moved and then it starts up again down the road or round the corner. Nicely offset by soi dogs and dead lizards squashed on the roads.! Try looking around pra samut chedi

Very low quality pointing in my opinion.

The guy clearly needs lessons.

Dumping rubbish in Thailand is a national pastime, including the tossing of stuff out of car windows along the express way.

you don't really like this place much do you? time for a trip home to Utopia?

he's putting alot of effort into his pointing ....   he know's he has to do it correct.

also,  looks like he's been in a good paddock as he's carrying a bit of beef ....

There is no antidote for stink but if they burned it at higher temp. instead of throwing it in a shallow hole, that might help?

lucky to have a dump, No garbage collection where we live there's a recycle guy and his misses in fact there's a few ,who deal with plastic glass and some cardboard but they seem to be very selective about what they want any "organic" waste is mainly dealt with by dogs and chickens the rest just has to be burnt sorry to any environmentalists out there but that,s the way it is

At one time you could sneak bulky Items into the bins at supermarkets and 7/11 s but they clamped down on that Various pu yai bahn's  come and gone without sorting this out, the main sticking point seems to be nobody will pay the extra 100 baht a month required to set something up

That is advanced pointing.

Perhaps Thailand could request from the IOC that synchronized pointing be part of the Olympic games.  Clearly they would start of as world leaders in this fine art.

Perhaps they could become the SE Asian hub of pointing?
