Non 'o' Mariage.can Show 400k Or No?

Recommended Posts

I remember that have some changes in the visa rules.

I have multiple non 'o' based on mariage. (every 3 months go to border).

Is the situation today in bkk immigration office is that I can show 400K in bank and get 1 year visa?

OR I need to pay tax on business to show I have income together with the wife we have every month income of 40K baht?

*or of course go to thai embassy out of thailand and again get the non 'o' multiple visa?

What options are open for me ?

thank you.

The 400k in the bank option is no more for new applicants :o

To get the marriage extension you now have to show a family income of 40k per month, this income can be in Thailand (need to show tax) or offshore (income letter from embassy required) or a combination.

There seems to be some confusion amongst immigration offices and officers whether the offshore part must be seen as being sent to Thailand (bank book and letter sometimes asked for).

what do u think the cheapest way to do it ?

pay tax to show 400K =17K baht pay every year.(maybe its every month or in 1 time all the amount I dont know ).

OR

go to singapore to make new non 'o' based on mariage.

cost : ticket with expenses all together I think will be around 8-10K

+ 1700*5 = 8500 baht.(the trip+fees to the border).

what do u think and more then this what will you do if u r in my situation ?

If, like me, you travel a lot at someone else's expense the visa option is best, no mucking about with immigration and needing to be in-country at the same time every year.

The CHEAPEST way, is if you can show an OFFSHORE income of >40k per month (no tax payable).

but I dont have an income from out of country. I have income here.in thailand with business.

and I not travel outside.

for me its only or pay tax to show I have income 40K or travel and I pay for all the expenses.

i'm less then 40 also.
