Paying Partners Social Security Contributions by Direct Debit,

My partner doesn’t work therefore she isn’t paying any Social Security for Health Care, she has told me she can make a voluntary payment. If this is the case I would set up a DD to pay the contributions, we live in Pattaya.

I assume this would mean a visit to the SS Office or can it be down online ?

My guess would be that payments would need to be made by her as you're not her "employer", but the best advice would be to check with the SS office directly. Manila handles Thailand. ( [email protected] )

She can't just start paying SS by herself.

Only if she has been working and SS was paid, then upon quitting her job she can continue the payments and stay enrolled.
