INN reported that a famous celebrity known as Lena Jang who presents a show called Chae on GMM TV went to apologize to the corrections department.

 

The apology followed incorrect information being put out on the show that might damage the prison service. 

 

It concerned use of mobile phones by prisoners in connection with defendants being held in the Forex-3D Ponzi scheme that is the talk of Thailand involving several celebrities. 

 

Corrections department deputy and spokesman Thawatchai Chaiwat explained the correct procedure to report prison officers not following the law and said that 29 cases were under investigation.
