Taken into evidence along with a Toyota Vios and phones were a million Ya Ba tablets, 50,000 Ecstasy pills and 19,700 date rape pills. The drugs were worth 110 million baht. For police it was the culmination of six months work to get the five couriers and two buyers. Picture: Daily News At the arrest site in Bua Lai district of Nakhon Ratchasima the gang members were so shocked they embraced each other in tears. Jay Suay is the elder sister of a drugs dealer called Nang Tia who was caught with 1.9 million Ya Ba in February. This was exposed with people trafficking, why would drugs be done any different? The sheer volumes speak volumes. Also, as you said , removing some villains only make a business vacancy for more, the riches on offer are VAST. No other crime is so profitable, it's time solutions that actually limit crime and legally manage drug use are found. The science of addiction is just being wilfully ignored , the UK fired the chief drug scientist because the politicians both sides, are in complete denial. A useless state of moral panic. They've learned nothing from the Al Capone era, when all these other drugs were perfectly legal! Worldwide.
