Hi all!

I am going to take two years off and proceed with a distance education. So I will not work during that time.

I would like to spend those two years in Thailand. I havent read anything about VISA rules at all.

Anyone that has a similar problem or know the answer?

All help would be very appreciated!

Regards

Hi Swede,

Please click on

:: HOME - Thaivisa.com

at top of page.

Your situation does not seem to be covered

by any of the various Visas

But you might find something that you could

qualify for.

A double tourist visa will give you 2+1+2+1 = total 6 months. That's a good start. You obtain further stay at Thai Consulates in neighborinbg Asian countries. Read the Thaivisa website about visa runs.

Hi Swede!!

I have the same problem.I'm going to Thailand on the 15 of June and going to stay for a long time.I got an 60 days tourist re-entry visa for the cost of 160 sek from the Thai embassy in Stockholm.And I can stay 6 months on that with 2 extentions.After that I need to get a new 60 days with re-entry in Malasysia or another country.But you can search on the net for visa runs in Thailand and you get a few example how and where to do it.
