Visa help needed!

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I am going to take two years off and proceed with a distance education. So I will not work during that time.

I would like to spend those two years in Thailand. I havent read anything about VISA rules at all.

Anyone that has a similar problem or know the answer?

All help would be very appreciated!

Regards

Roger

no luck here... :o

Hi Swede,

Please click on

:: HOME - Thaivisa.com

at top of page.

Your situation does not seem to be covered

by any of the various Visas

But you might find something that you could

qualify for.

thanks for your reply. I cant beleive Iam the first in the world who got this briliant idea... :o
A double tourist visa will give you 2+1+2+1 = total 6 months. That's a good start. You obtain further stay at Thai Consulates in neighborinbg Asian countries. Read the Thaivisa website about visa runs.

Hi Swede!!

I have the same problem.I'm going to Thailand on the 15 of June and going to stay for a long time.I got an 60 days tourist re-entry visa for the cost of 160 sek from the Thai embassy in Stockholm. And I can stay 6 months on that with 2 extentions. After that I need to get a new 60 days with re-entry in Malasysia or another country. But you can search on the net for visa runs in Thailand and you get a few example how and where to do it.
