Siam Rath said that problems still persist with nightclubs and places of prostitution opening all hours annoying local residents.

This is going on despite zoning laws introduced more than 50 years ago.

Following the easing of restrictions post pandemic it appears that Thailand is slipping back into laxness when it comes to pubs and clubs.

This despite people like the RTP chief Pol Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk demanding that local forces crackdown on pubs breaking the law.

If they don't he promised that his men would face disciplinary or even criminal charges for taking backhanders directly or indirectly.

The latest to complain was a man named only as "Somchai" who said that a pub operating in Talat Thai, Klong Luang, Pathum Thani in Soi Thepkunchorn 12-13 was opening daily to 4 am.

Sometimes it was light before the young people went home.

There was noise from loud music keeping many area residents awake.

He asked the media to pass on the complaint to the acting Thai PM, chief of police and the Department of Public Administration.

Nope not on jot. I live in a truly peace filled bl.ody paradise mate ????

A restaurant not 500 meters from where I live has opened up in the last month.

Closed all day opens at 6pm with live band music until 3am every night.

Right smack bang in the middle of a residential area.

Because the Owners DON'T Have ANY Respect for the rest of the folks that live on what was once a Very Quiet Peaceful area.....I DO Like Dogs BTW,But Not these 2.....

Hardly unusual and  difficult to resolve, as the authorities have usually received a pay-off. The added concern is retaliation when they find out who is complaining.
