ANOTHER COLOSSAL ROADSIDE sign featuring caretaker Prime Minister-cum-Palang Pracharath party leader Prawit Wongsuwan has been spotted in downtown Buengkarn with an attached note literally soliciting legal leniency for its existence.

 

The vinyl billboard features an enlarged picture of the mask-wearing Prawit, the ruling party’s logo and catchphrases about a watershed forest conservation project in the northeastern province where he has earlier visited.

 

Attached underneath is a relatively small sign soliciting “kindnesses” of the Highway Department to allow the free use of the roadside plot of public land for the installation of the gigantic billboard and the Buengkarn municipality to provide a signboard tax exemption for it.

The gigantic fellow needs a large sign to fit him into it.

The billboard has been erected illegally and should be demolished at owners cost.
