Daily News Thai Caption: Arrested at a condo

Police from the Consumer Protection Division served an arrest warrant for fraud and misrepresentation on the internet on a 39 year old woman named only as "A".

This followed many complaints from people who had booked rooms at a Pattaya hotel but got nothing.

Losses are in the millions of baht.

"A" denied everything after her arrest at a luxury condo in the Charoen Sanitwong area of the Thai capital.

Daily News reported that she had worked in the sales department of a Pattaya hotel before offering the allegedly bogus packages.

She was named in a warrant issued by the South Bangkok court in May as well as a similar one on Friday in Prakhanong.
