wait till you hear this pish.Today I went Pattaya Immigration for Extension retirement.So went to bank got 12 months statement,seperate pages that that the specky gay boy asked for last year plus another 12 month statement of my pension from UK plus bank letter.Today the boy says I don't want this now I want this,he showed me aN A4 with just !2 payments adding up to 800.000. I said the bank has given you more than you need,but he says to me I know you live here 24 year but this I want.WOW!!He says go back to bank and get this page.I was gettin a little bit angry but I know how all this works,I used to be best friends with Itapol years ago and that boy wouldn't be there.Anyway I said to him ok ,I am not going to bank just go the money route as my bank letter stated I have loads.He says ok! Not a brain,but you cannot argue with uneducated Thais,so he says pick up tomorrow after2pm.Will go to my bank tomorrow and warn them of stupidity.SCB did everything by the rule

You were doing combination method? a rare thing at Jomtien, maybe that's why the gaykeeper didn't like it

If you had the 800K and it was seasoned properly, why would anyone even attempt a combo application?

Was doing it by pension but he didn't like the way SCB provided the paperwork but last year he accepted it,so I wasn't going back to the bank and told him just do it the money route as my bank letter showed more than enough to go that way.Always went the pension route ,but no problem,pick up passport today and just go money in bank route from now on

Your post is confusing.

The bank letter does not state "I have loads"...

It simply verifies that you are the owner of the account and the current balance.

Your bank book pages (or statements) so the minimum balance throughout the year.

Do this in future then problem solved...if you feel the "gayboy" was being awkward spare a thought he may have got out of bed the wrong side and his knickers were on the wrong way... nobody's perfect thas knows.

So you maintain a minimum balance of 800k all year and you also have income of 65k+ per month for the 12 months.

OP's tone and visible animosity make one more sympathetic to the IO.

 

Everyone needs to remember that subtle changes in required paperwork can occur at anytime and may have nothing to do with the IO present.

 

If someone is uncomfortable in dealing directly with the paperwork, one can hire an agent or get Thailand Elite.

You need to be a bit more careful with the wording, you meant "income" route as it is not necessarily a pension.

As you say a bank letter is also required for the income route, or has been at my office for many years. I also use Chonburi Immigration, at Sri Ratcha.

You are certainly right on one point, many on here that have never done something make out they an expert based on hearsay. However it doesn't do any good to get wound up, at the end of the day they are the ones with the stamp in their hand.
