Maybe it's the internet, maybe news stations not afraid to cover it, or maybe there ARE more killings. The date: 9 October 2022. Let's see how long until the next article. Note: 2022 versus 1980. 1980 probably was actually safer, but I would still rather live in 2022 even with a much greater risk of being shot and killed. I'm still amazed I get sports for free when only a few decades ago I was waiting until the Nightly News to watch 10 seconds of highlights.
