MOST BANGKOKIANS prefer Move Forward party leader Pita Limjaroenrat to become prime minister after the next general election, says a recent opinion poll.

According to the National Institute of Development Administration’s (NIDA) poll conducted among 2,000 Bangkok residents earlier this month, 20.40% of all respondents  preferred the Move Forward top leader the most for head of a post-election government.

The NIDA poll has found 15.20% of the respondents of the capital city picking Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, who has been allowed by court to prolong his rule until 2025, for prime minister again whilst 14.10% of the Bangkokians chose Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of de facto Pheu Thai party boss/former premier Thaksin Shinawatra.

Good news. Youth, forward movement and a chance for the nation to move progress, vs. dinosaurs, regression, stagnation, a total lack of vision, appointments totally lacking in merit and ongoing, never ending corruption.

Well, at least their thinking is right, let's see if it comes to fruition! One can only hope!

Surely he will get a ban from politics then over some trivial excuse, they did it last time.

Meanwhile, back at the army ranch, a special unit has been mobilized to dig up some dirt on Pita Limjaroenrat.

A quick note on math and statistics - 20% is not "most".

" Move foreward " is the only direction Thailand has to go to keep up with the upcoming changes ...

Thai system of corruption and hypocrisy will make them become losers in a rapidly changing world .

New faces , new ( better ) rules ... but , of course , there is something holding the progress back ... but still I see many good initiatives in sustainable economy coming up in Thailand . Good .

Possibly this time at the election things will change for the better.

One can only hope people vote more wisely this time around.
