Bars At The New Airport + Other Question!

Featured Replies

Okay i didnt have much luck with my last question, hopefully someone will respond to this one!!

My friends have booked a flight from BKK to Phuket through air asia - does this flight leave from the new airport or Don Muang? (website is not at all clear). Secondly they have a 7 hour wait through the night between arriving in BKK and the flight to Phuket~~~ will the airport bars be open?

Any knowledge will be much appreciated!

Air Aisa has a sales counter and check in counters at Suvarnabhumi, so that's likely where they'll fly out of. If not, 7 hours should be enough time to cross town.

The bars are open until about 2am then open the next morning. All AirAsia flights leave from the new airport.

All Air Asia flights are from Suvarnabhumi. They have no flights from Don Muang.

Are there any actual bars (not milk bars) land side at Suv these days?

The bar right at the far end airside (The left end as you come through from check-in, the D end IIRC) has a sign stating open 24/7 :o

What about land-side for meeting/waiting for friends??
