Maybe in Bangkok real expats (not old guys on retirement visa extensions) have real girlfriends but for the majority it's paid for sex Now is it 'sad'? Now that's up for debate. Probably both are in it for different reasons. The woman if half his age is in it for money and some security The guy, twice her age is in it for sex that he can't get at home with women his own age So if that transactional relationship works, go for it. Problem often happens when that transactional relationship go's back to the home country Thats when the ridicule starts! -

Heck, they're now borrowing THB in order to pay the interest on the national debt. Don't worry - it's a self-correcting problem. -

Are cars legally required to stop for a zebra?
All vehicles have to stop if someone is on the crossing, the fine is 4,000 baht. Part of the problem is pedestrians, they stand on the crossing meekly for minutes waiting for traffic to stop and it never does. Pedestrians need to be much more assertive but careful. I regularly cross 2 zebra crossings when going to hospital appointments. Many is the time I stride past people standing meekly waiting for traffic to stop and in the process forcing drivers to brake sharply. I’m always ready to jump if they don’t stop. Learned behaviour is the problem here. -

It can be debated whether or not he's fueling the hatred in America, but it cannot be debated that he's giving license to his least civilized supporters, and alot of very low quality Americans. Harris is speaking of unity, and she's speaking of joy, and she's representing the exact polar opposite qualities of the huge grump. -

So, no matter how bad the gaffe a candidate might utter, it's still positive if it attracts a lot of attention? Because any attention is positive? Candidates in opposition to each other don't pounce what are widely considered gaffes committed by their opponent? If a candidate were to say, for example, that he was going to model his administration after the Third Reich, the resulting furor could only work in his favor? (I'm not ruling out that it probably would work in his favor at least among a few members here). -

...but as you say it was last registered in Bangkok... so your TM30 is currently wrong. Why on earth did you not simply hand in the TM30 form at Chiangmai so from now on you'd be able to do the 90 day online? You say there is "no need" to update but you literally offer up a reason in your own story: you were unable to complete the online application. And, at least in Bangkok, they always check your TM30 when doing a yearly extension, so what happens in Chiangmai?
