Hi guys, for some travel/ trip planning with passport requiring visa on arrival, I'd like to ask if anyone knows if it is possible to get 2 VOA within a short period (e.g. travel to Thailand for 2 week, do a trip to Vietnam for 1-2 weeks and then back to Thailand for 2 weeks, all trips by air) or whether there are restrictions/ limitations?

Cheers!

Are you sure you mean VOArrival or VOEntry ? what passport are you traveling on? if you don't mind telling us.

The OP clearly mentioned 2 weeks in Thailand.

Almost certain it's a VOA.

At a wild guess country India.

Never understand why India does not have visa exempt option..

OMG visa exempt entry will be a riot in Thailand. Thailand knows how to deal with people of various country. The same reason Thailand does not give long-term residency to retirees and "wife visa" holders.

Think if your married to a Thai you should have more long term easy visa options.

this is 2022 not 1933.

Thailand wants you to believe it's a first world country, but scratch the veneer and you will see nothing but 3rd World.

Thanks guys for all the input. Still looking for an answer to the original question.

Passport China, need to travel twice and since in both instances (with some time spent in another country in between) the stays in Thailand will be below 15/30 days, doing VOA may be more convenient.

I do not think you will have any problems with two entries. This is not uncommon, and it not the type of travel that immigration is concerned about. They are concerned about border runs used to stay long term. It is very common for travelers to enter Thailand 2 or 3 times as they travel about SEA. Also, the fact that you will spend more than 1 day in Vietnam is an indication that you are not border running for a long stay in Thailand.

Yes it's merely for some travel across a few countries with Thailand just in between.
Thank you timendres!
