Sergach
An agency offered a Non-Immigrant Visa-B (business) that apparently doesn’t require a Thai work permit. Sounds odd that you don’t need a work permit for a business visa. But they're saying it's used only for "staying", not to work or do business. I've never heard of this before. Anyone has any experience with this visa type? Thanks! Edited November 15, 2022 by Sergach
Real Name Hidden
I’ve had a couple of these. You need the visa before you can get the work permit. In one case I had to threaten to walk to get the work permit, which had been promised in the job interview. In the other case I did walk. Both employers were farang. ubonjoe
The non-b visa that issued for business purposes and only allows you to attend meetings and etc. It would normally be issued by a embassy or consulate as a multiple entry visa if requested. It would allow unlimited 90 day entries for one year from the day it issued.
