Second Hand Big Bikes?

Recommended Posts

I see alot of used big bike for sale. Many honda CB400's for about 50-80K baht. That seems really cheap campared to newer japanese sport bike and cruisers that go for 200,000-500,000 baht. Are those bikes is see in the 60K range junk or very, very used?

You have to take into consideration the age & condition of the bike plus mileage etc. 40 - 60k on a bike around 12 yr old CB 400 is about the normal. Also some of these bikes are registered (green book) but just as many are not. It's up to you if you want to travel about on an unregistered bike but in Bangkok/Pattaya police will be on the case. Outside of the big city it's probably easier. Alot of people take pride in their bikes & some use them from getting from A - B. you have to take each bike by it's individual case and go and see it & perhaps have a test ride.
