Thailand's deputy national police chief Sura-chata Hak-parn is threatening to prosecute and extradite Chinese nationals who are found to be involved in undercover businesses.  This follows several raids that led to the arrest of a Chinese Thai man known as ‘Tu Hao who’s alleged to have run several illegal bars and drug centers. Harkpan said he would revoke the mans Thai citizenship and would also take action against any state officials found to be connected with criminal activities.

an airport  in Prachuap Khiri Khan was seized for further examination, along with other assets.

 

A Japanese man is believed to have committed suicide in Chaingmai yesterday, police found the body of the 48 year old at the rented house he shared with a japanese family.

A friend said the man had been worried and stressed but didn't know why.

 

A man walking his dog just north of Pattaya  yesterday found a baby left in a pile of rubbish. The 54 year old heard what he thought was a cat, but then discovered the sound was a baby wrapped in a plastic bag crying. The child is recovering in hospital.

 

Several thousand macaques enjoyed the annual monkey festival in Lopburi yesterday. All helped themselves to fruit, vegetables, rice and much more made available on trays held by several large statues of monkeys, watched by locals and tourists.
