KannikaP Posted November 29, 2022 Share Posted November 29, 2022 I have purchased, from Mr Lazada, an HDMI/Audio Extractor box ie HDMI in & out and 2 x RCA phonos out to go to my audio system. It works fine, but the Fire Remote will not alter the audio volume, it still controls the TV volume. Anyone any thoughts or ideas please. The box was expensive...........Bht 185. When I plug Fire into the TV, the remote controls the TV volume OR the Bluetooth speaker if that is turned on. My audio system is NOT Bluetooth enabled. Also i noticed when i moved my Fire TV stick from one TV (which i initially set it up on) to another TV - it stopped controlling the volume.
