The ongoing investigation into Chinese owned grey businesses has resulted in multiple raids of  luxury homes and other properties netting the  seizure of sports cars, land deeds and other assets valued at some 400 million baht.

The Chinese owners had fled, all are believed to have been connected with Chinese national Too Hao who is being detained for alleged connection to the drugs trade.

 

A court case into an alleged fraudulent financial scam known as a forex 3d ponzi scheme accused a famous actress and her mother of persuading people to invest in the scheme, both denied the charge. The alleged head of the scheme and 24 others were also in court to hear charges brought against them by victims that claim to have lost some 2.4 billion baht.

The head of the People's network against corruption, filed a complaint  alleging the 35 rai plot purchased over 20 years ago on forest land in Saraburi has been used by adventure tour companies.

11,970 expats living in 181 countries participated in this years survey who placed Valencia at the top and Tokyo, London, Istanbul and Paris towards the bottom of the list.
