snoop1130
Following complaints from nearby residents in Pattaya, the deputy mayor inspected a homeless people’s camp under Motorway Route 7 Tuesday, December 6th. Mr. Wuttisak Rueimkitkan, Pattaya deputy mayor, and officials from the Chonburi homeless center took part in inspecting the unauthorized homeless camp around 10 AM after many residents near Motorway Route 7 complained about the growing number of homeless people taking shelter beneath the road. After looking around, Wuttisak told The Pattaya News he found 3-4 makeshift tents and one family consisting of a father and his two daughters aged 4 and 14 years old. The homeless family was cramped in one tent, which concerned Wuttisak, so he stated he would try to contact the mother to come and pick up the daughters. Does he think the mother is in a nice comfy home with a refrigerator full of food awaiting the girls? Is she magically going to show up in her Mercedes to take them home for a warm bath? There's a reason she isn't around and she isn't any better off than the rest of the family. The fact that he said he'll "try" to contact the mother tells he is clueless as to where she is. He's the deputy mayor and is with officials from the Chonburi homeless center yet they didn't even have the common sense to invite them to go to the homeless center. Crazy. 2 3

Aussieroaming
What was he looking for, free camping equipment or something? Maybe if people in privaledged positions weren't so corrupt the poorer people might stand an economic chance.
Burma Bill
Is it likely the homeless residents will be charged with "trespassing with intent" ??
