Q Does the Chonburi Land Office grant permission to Thai Companies (foreigner Controlled )to register the following into such Thai Companies? A Condominium Apartments. B Land -i.e. Houses. Peterw42 Posted December 12, 2022 Share Posted December 12, 2022 Yes, 1,000s of foreigners do company ownership of properties in Chonburi. There are no restrictions as such as to what the company, with minority (49%) foreign shareholders, can own. A quick google search will bring up lots of commentary, opinions, legalities etc. Using a company, solely to circumvent property ownership laws, isn't exactly legal, but its also not strictly illegal, its tolerated, and may be subject to change in the future.
