Listen to the news:

Athletics - Former double Olympic 800m champion David Rudisha was unharmed after a plane he was flying in crash-landed. The plane carrying six people  came down in Kajiado county in south-east Kenya  Photos show it upside down in a field. Kenyan Rudisha, 33, described it as a "scary episode".

Snooker - Former Masters champion Yan Bingtao has been suspended from the World Snooker Tour as part of an ongoing investigation into match-fixing.

China's Yan, the world number 16, ban will remain in place until the outcome of the investigation.

Football - Australia's top flight soccer competitions have sold their title-deciding 'Grand Finals' to Sydney until 2025 in a deal condemned by fans. The A-League Men and Women's competitions have traditionally played their championship deciders at the highest-placed teams' home grounds. But the agreement struck with the New South Wales state government will ensure Australia's biggest city hosts the next three Grand Finals for both leagues.

And finally England's hopes of lifting the World Cup might have been dashed but Manchester City duo Kyle Walker and John Stones did not want to leave Qatar completely empty handed -- hence they will be taking home a stray cat befriended by the team at their training base. The cat, who Stones named Dave, will have to spend four months in quarantine before he can be re-united with the City duo.
