Temperatures are forecast to fall by another 6-8oC in the north and north-east and by 3-5oC in the eastern and central regions, including Bangkok and its peripherals, from tomorrow until Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Department.

The cold weather is the result of the arrival of another strong cold front from China, which is covering the north of Thailand.

Temperatures in the low lands of north-eastern and northern provinces will fall to 10-18oC and to 2-10oC in the mountainous areas. Temperatures in the eastern and central provinces, including Bangkok, are forecast to fall to 15-21oC.

As if it wasn't cold enough yet. Forecast shows min temperatures at about 10 C for us on Monday and Tuesday.

Love it good with some cold weather..

A cold weather forecast is almost always appreciated here in Thailand.

Cold weather claim for Laos and Cambodia also.  Impossible.  We’ve been having Global Warming for half a century now.
This cold claim is just propaganda from right wing climate deniers.

Well I got the UK News on right now and the topic is people being freezing cold in their homes...... unable to afford the heating bills.... I know in a few hours here the sun will be high and it will be a bit on the warm side.

A brisk 14 degrees in north Chiang Mai currently, nippy indeed.

Up to 23 in Pattaya ATM.

Bring it on!:

Not only is it cold, but also very windy. The ferry service between the islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and the mainland has been suspended for 2 days (18+19 December). I'm surprised it's not headlined in the Thai news. People who want to travel to the islands and people who want to leave the islands can't at the moment.
