Popular Post webfact
Picture: Siam Rath Siam Rath reported that Thai immigration in Uthai Thani had conducted a training seminar for 120 people to explain what they do and how they can help. Advice was given to employers about registering migrants and what to do about 90 day reports and registering addresses. This was all played out to a backdrop that outlined the vision of the IB: This involved creating satisfaction, trust, following international standards and security. It made for a rather awkward 'acronym' of STIS. Picture: Siam Rath Under Uthai Thani immigration in particular was a 3 MIS and SOP. M: Mission Means Measurement I: Individual Talent Idea Generation Infinite Change S stood for Synchronization (an impressively long word on display) Stability and Speed. SOP was at the bottom, whatever that meant. Like Lotus after it was sold by Tesco, the local force came up with five S's to prove their brand: Smart Smile Serve Safe Secure. While the core value of the whole IB was: Prompt action. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-12-22 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post khunjeff
They really need some new graphic designers - these display boards they come up with are unreadable and visually appalling. The entire Thai government also needs a refresher course to understand that mnemonics are only useful when they spell real words that people can remember - nonsense strings of letters are, well, nonsense.
Popular Post elliottm
For me Uthai Thani's immigration vision and core values first become apparent when I was charged 500bt for a visa transfer to a new passport. I had not seen the charge listed for this service and the money was popped into a shirt pocket without receipt. Suspecting corruption in hindsight, I asked for a receipt when I was charged the same amount to confirm my address for a driving licence extension. The policeman then disappeared and after a call to my wife I was told "for me, free". For visa extensions the corruption became almost a matter of pride, the 100bt change being kept as a "tip" for training. I note that for my recent extension neither of the two founding policemen were present and that one of those trainees processed the application without incident and gave the correct change. So I am surprised UT would be chosen as a precedent for such a promotion as I never encountered such corruption at CW. Your are not dealing with one of the pathetic "open borders" western countries where most of us originate from.
