Popular Post MRToMRT
If you get a message on your phone (from Talaadthai) saying you have an amount (mine was 67 baht) to confirm to pay from Thailand Post - think twice. The link took me to a very impressive copy of the Thailand Post website in Brazil. Edited December 24, 2022 by MRToMRT 3 1 2
Bangkok Barry
I got one on my phone app which I've deleted as we have nothing to pay Thailand Post. Interesting that it appears to be only a phone scam rather than an internet/email one. I use AIS - have others received the message via other companies or has AIS been hacked - again, if memory serves?
StevieAus
I realize this isn't technically a scam but a couple of times I have tried to send a letter overseas recently if it is too thick to go through their testing slot they tell me it has to be registered. So if I want to send a book that really has no value it has to be registered. Has anyone experienced this?
Puccini
Has there perhaps been some misunderstanding or miscommunication? The postage rate depends on size and weight of item. The bigger the item, the higher the rate.
