webfact 181852 Posted December 30, 2022 Share Posted December 30, 2022 Daily News Thai Caption: Cutting the flow of yaba Daily News reported that 191 police headed by Pol Maj-Gen Chokchai Ngamwong announced the arrest of two men who were using a private postal service to distribute drugs from a condominium in Huay Khwang, Bangkok. Jet, 33, and Joe, 45, formed a gang known as "Bangmas". They had rented a number of rooms at the Jitrapha condo in the Thai capital using that as a base for their distribution network. Police seized 841,800 yaba tablets. This is methamphetamine mixed with caffeine, a drug of choice in Thailand. Also seized were 9 kilos of "ice" or crystal meth, 4 kilos of ketamine, a gun and ammunition and two cars and two phones. Police had kept a watch on the pair after a previous bust and discovered they were sending the drugs to the south. The pair had been doing this for two months after collecting the drugs all over areas surrounding Bangkok and pooling them at the condominium.
