For a gout test I'm looking private laboratory.

Testing for Uric Acid is a primary test, but, in diagnosing joint specific flares, or whatever, a doc may be required to use a needle to extract synovial fluid for analysis.

Colchicine is a very powerful medicine, high toxicity with overuse, that interacts with many other drugs: imho, should only be used under medical supervision.
