The government has done a u turn on it’s decision to require visitors to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, 
Health minister Anutin said: to show evidence of vaccination was inconvenient and experts had concluded it was unnecessary as most foreign arrivals are vaccinated and there are sufficient immunisation levels in China.

 

Prime minister Prayut has invited Indian prime minister Narenda Modi to visit Thailand, the announcement was made as India’s new ambassador Nagesh Singh made a brief visit to government house yesterday.


The aim of the meeting will be to improve political ties and encourage further investment and tourism. 
Thailand can expect some to million Indian visitors this year.

 

A longtail boat capsized near Krabi yesterday sending two tourists overboard, two other boats was able to rescue the two and the boats driver, and recover the capsized boat.
 
A new report has placed Thailand ‘first’ in the Asean list of 17 sustainable development goals, this is the 4th year at the top.

Indonesia: A 7.6-magnitude earthquake hit 95 kilometer deep under the ocean off Indonesia and Timor yesterday, several aftershocks were also felt in parts of timor and Papua, 
There were no reports of injury or damage.
