Nothing to do with wives...more to do with what was found in the car... :D

there are alot worse places to live than samui.

quality of life is not too bad if you have enough income to savive on.

i find it pretty save. if you hang around the dodgey crowd and play with matches then u might get burnt. don;t hear much complaints from the middle class forangs that berry themslef in a house in the hills.

maybe i wrong but i know alot worse places to live. just would be nice if we didn;t have to run ino and out the country like yo yos to do visa runs then have the chance of them being refused.

it was on the business news that thai economic growth is slowing right down.

many big building been abandoned half way through contraction due to govment issues. time now is to buy while house prices are low.

if you want to take the risk

i know one lady that knocked off about 2 million off her house in lipa noi becuase she is desperate to sell to re-pay her loan from the bank.

many people have borrowed to invest. now they just want there money back and interest to cover there loan.

worth looking into

half of that makes no sense. The other half takes great effort by the reader to make it make sense, please take time to read your post before posting.

yes i will have to sorte my language out. unfortuatly englsh is my fist language. my spelling is very bad. last night was even worse cause i was working in the dark.

if you look at the mistakes alot of the correct letters are very close to the letters where i have made errors.

will have to check my stuff again and again.

will try

cheers

yes i read about that after i wrote the post. as i sayplay with matches could not only get burnt but u could burnt the hole house down. in other words mix with the wrong crowd can effect you your family friends.

specially in thailand. then in western style everyone is innocent till proven guilty so i not jump to assume anything. all just hear say. at the moment. maybe he was up o no good maybe he wasn't it isn;t my business though. and it isn't my business

i think it was an indirect reply to someone saying that i was badly promoting Samui by saying that crime adds charcter to the island. i was trying to promote Samui by saying that it is not as bad as the press make it out to be. there are plenty of people out here living rich lives but you would not read about that becuase people like to read about bad things.

so what i am saying is that press good or bad helps promote the island.

morally is that good or bad is another question but it is a fact like it or not

Samui Express - Police said the gunman could have been a hired killer ( obvious ? ) . No suspects have been named so far but police are pursuing various leads including her supposed conflict with certain contractors , foreign clients and with her German husband ( Norbert ).

No.Just adding a little poetry to life is a good thing, and I'm judging no-one; it's obvious many nationalities post in TV and spelling can jump fom the good to the bad in seconds, as long as sense can be made from the post,no problemo.

...2 nights ago I drove up to Mae Nam, just before the Cactus Resort, ambulance lights, traffic snarl, I managed to pass, a motorbike twisted, plastic shrapnel strewn across the road, blood, the ambulance still waiting, the guys with the rubber gloves.... a broken bottle of "white lightning" told it story...last night almost at the same spot same story.... why nobody raves on about these victims - not hot enough, no celebs?

Just unknowns, just adding to the statistics....well it's quite funny how we do observe the world around us, isn't it?

A known Name makes it easy into the headlines, speculation, rumours, stories been woven, but the daily no name, no face, no number deaths are seemingly of nobody's concern!

thats life - so why being concerned about anything in the first place, huh?

Aren't we quite a funny bunch, aren't we?

Samuian,

No name, no face daily deaths.A bottle of white lightning. Now where are we supposed to get all the details to discuss such events?

This thread is about fact & not rumour,a lady got shot. Not a known name, but perhaps guilty by association. We are all concerned about senseless deaths, but unless you are aware of them................................!

Now you tell me that this person was consuming white lightning,I worry more about the person he hit , then his own demise.

Well, how do they say here? "Up to you!"

Entirely up to you!

Worry about what ever you wish to worry!

Well, you see, it's how we are made. 2 different Observers, 2 differing Opinions...thats what makes life so wonderful and gives it some color, variations!

I didn't exactly mention that he DID consume "white lightning" ( he very likely did) but that there was remnants of a bottle of "lao kao" strewn around the scene of the accident and the stench of the liquid was intense!

It just happened, and I happened to be an observer of the event, he was hit by a car!

Because I haven't seen the car-driver, but the car and didn't have my breathalyser equipment with me either, so

it would be a rumor to assume, because it was Saturday night, that the car-driver was drunk too!

I agree wholeheartedly!

Next day, sunday evening almost @ the same spot, similiar scene!

By the way, what was the hit-victim "guilty" of? "By association"......?

What came to mind regarding the shooting, was it happens everyday.. in one way or the other... only if it hits so called celebs... we turn our ears...

Ahh... well but then..

What I meant was she wasn't a famous person, but associated with one.

It is very hard to follow these conversations because of the poor English. Sometimes I'm not sure if someone is saying "yes" or "no", "up" or "down".

You're right, access to these forums should be restricted to those who possess diplomas of English language. :o

the hit man isn't who they should be looking for. the hitman was just a tool for the shooting. it is who paid the hitman who is guilty.

pulling the trigger is not as bad as giving the order. in fact it is the same thing. then i have to assume it was a hitman as people say i don;t know th truth.

i spoke to someone who was in the office when it happened. she said someone came in asked to speak with the victim. she pointed him in the direction of her.

then her 3 shots.

everyoe ducked under the table and he speed off on a motor bike

very proffesional.

hard to catch this one.

anyway what are you talking about i never herd of this lady up till now. or Katherin Norton till after they were killed.

what is all this celebrity nonsense.

Well, being directed to her, he asked her if she was "May" or "OI".... and she answered "yes"!

she gave the "green lights" herself...

you're right a prof.

The celeb-nonsense isexactly waht I tried to point at in my post you quoted...

p.s.

regarding Mr.Paul Allen's little comment: sorry that not everyone on this planet is a native English speaker, get real and be fair! My advise: don't read the post's if the English isn't good enough! But above all, PLEASE refrain from such postings!

I'm sorry you don't like comment but it is the truth which means it is fair. I mean look at this post you just wrote. What does "you're right a prof" mean? It is not just directed at you. Just reread what you type and try to make sure it makes sense before posting. This is an English website. Just take the time to proof you writings.

You say don't read the posts if the English isn't good enough but I have to read it to tell if the English is good enough or not.

Enough with the pedantic arguments over english, please. Petertheeater, If it isn't understandable to you then I suggest you read the entire thread where all becomes quite clear.

As for typos etc, well, yes sometimes it is hard to figure out what people mean and it would be nice if some people took a little extra care with their english, but not everyone is a native english speaker and allowances should be made for those who may be less than fluent in the language.

Also, there doesn't appear to be any more information regarding this murder. When someone gets some information then they can open a new thread.
